Company profile

Ceramica Dolomite was born in Trichiana (Belluno) in 1965 in the shadow of the mountains which rise from Belluno and range across the border between Italy and Austria.

Its main products are sanitary ware for bathrooms and public use, designer washbasins, kitchen sinks, acrylic bathtubs, furniture, brassware and accessories.

In 1992 a productive site in Pordenone was opened, and in 1995 the acquisition of Ceramiche Senesi followed. In 2007 Ceramica Dolomite established itself as Ideal Standard International (an independent and privately-owned company headquartered in Brussels) noteworthy local brand.

Ceramica Dolomite is actively pursuing sustainability in its productive processes. In 2013 a new cogeneration plant was installed in Trichiana. The steam produced by the furnaces generates electricity, which is used in the productive cycle and is also used to illuminate the streets of the nearby town.

Another example of Ceramica Dolomite’s ecological commitment is the recyclability of the materials, respecting the environment and its resources.
