logo-cop-21From November 30 to December 11, 2015, 195 countries and nearly 150 world leaders including Barack Obama and Xi Jinping will meet in Paris for COP21 UN climate change conference.

The goal of the two weeks of talks is to reach a new climate change agreement to avoid dangerous global warming and a new financing deal to help poorer countries cope with climate change.

In the first week the delegates will discuss and refine the draft text issued at the end of the last session in Bonn, while the second week will be mostly dedicated to political negotiation and to solve possible disagreements on the deal to be adopted at the end of the conference and planned to come into effect in 2020.
