ENEL Foundation will support the Sino Italian Cooperation Program advanced training courses also in 2013.

The new agreement was signed on May 22 by the Director of the ENEL Foundation, Alessandro Costa, and the Dean of Venice International University, Agar Brugiavini. The event coincided with the Opening Ceremony in VIU of the High Technology and Science Parks for Sustainable Development training course of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), at the presence of the Scientific Attache of the Chinese Embassy in Rome, Mr. Yin Jun.

On the basis of the agreement, ENEL Foundation will support the scientific and didactic offer within the training courses arranging lecturing sessions and site visits on specific topics of energy and climate change. In particular, ENEL Foundation will participate in 8 training sessions to be held until the end of the year, focusing on EU Emission Trading Scheme, Eco-Cities, Low carbon energy generation and industry, innovation in the energy sector; site visits will provide the Chinese participants the unique opportunity of visiting innovative power plants, such as the one in Civitavecchia (Rome).
