Green growth and innovation in the industrial sector are important aspects of sustainable development. The 2014 Tianjin Science and Technology Committee (TSTC) Advanced Training Program will discuss these very issues and present new concrete solutions to promote green industrial development.

From October 19 to 29 the 40 members of the delegation selected by the TSTC will spend 10 days in Rome, Venice and Turin attending a course on "Sustainable Industry and Eco-Innovation Management in Coastal Urban Areas".

Several themes are included in the course agenda: Promoting High-Tech Innovation, EU Policies on Industrial Production, Sustainable Energy Systems, Green Industrial Technology, Environmentally Friendly Industrial Production and Management, Innovation of Enterprises and New Technologies for Sustainable Agriculture.

The delegation will meet experts form IMELS, universities and research centers. Besides, site visits to Italcementi Group, Ponterosso Consortium, Brovedani Group and AgriNewTech will give the opportunity to present new technological solutions and pollution control systems adopted by Italian companies.
