The 17th Annual Meeting of the International Conferences on Modelling, Monitoring and Management of Air Pollution this year will be held in Tallin, Estonia, from July 20 to 22. The conference is organised by the Wessex Institute of Technology and supported by the International Journal of Sustainable Development and Planning. The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers who are active in the study of air contaminants and to facilitate information exchange among participants. Scientific research is in fact the key to identify the nature and scale of air pollution impacts and is essential in the formulation of policies for regulatory decision-making. Continuous improvements in exploring the fundamentals of air pollution and the application of the results are necessary to properly predict, assess and mitigate the air pollution effects on local, regional, national and international economic systems.
