Città Sostenibile - Sustainable City is a special initiative within EcoMondo, the world-wide known International Trade Fair of Material & Energy and Sustainable Development. The new edition will be hosted in Rimini on October 28-31. Sustainable City is an exhibition of international projects, solutions and case studies of cities which have applied the concepts of sustainability to their territory, in order to present good practices for the sustainable planning of our "CITIES OF THE FUTURE". The VIU-TEN Center is part of the Scientific Board of Sustainable City to offer the experience acquired in the Advanced Training Program, targeting civil servants and experts from China, Central Asia and countries from Central and Eastern Europe. The Capacity Building Program has offered the opportunity to address the issue of Sustainable Urban Development, both at local and global level, through the perspectives of the economic development, environmental protection and social progress, as they all contribute to the challenge of sustainable management of today cities. eAmbiente S.r.l and Fiera di Rimini organise the event which will open on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 2.00 pm (Arena Città Sostenibile Pad B5) with the participation of the Chairman of Environment Commission - City of Rimini, Venice International University, Politecnico di Milano, Università La Sapienza di Roma, ENEA, Sino-Italian Cooperation Program for Environmental Protection - IMELS, ENEA." |
