The March 2011 schedule of the Advanced Training Program foresees the participation of two Chinese delegations.

The first is represented by participants selected by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). The 42 participants will be in Italy from March 5 to 19, 2011 to attend the second training course organized in 2011 by VIU and the CASS, and is on "Water Pollution Prevention Control".
The agenda includes lectures and site visits concerning issues related to water pollution, amongst which water basins, urban and industrial waste water treatment and the economics of water and health.

The second delegation will be in Italy from March 12 to 26 attending a course on Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs). The 25 trainees have been selected by the Ministry of Environmental Protection in China and the course will focus primarily on the current trend of environmental agreements, with specific attention to their practical application.
