Italy, June 13-27, 2009
On June 13, a delegation of 23 participants from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China arrived in Italy for a two weeks course focused on “Environmental Monitoring Managementâ€. It is the second training in 2009 dedicated to this important topic. Following the successful experience of the first edition, the agenda takes into consideration the main environmental parameters such as water, air and soil. The goal of the course is to provide participants with practical examples from the Italian institutions involved in monitoring activities: how they relate to each other, apply regulations and operate on the field for the collection of environmental data. Discussions on theoretical issues (mainly European and Italian law) will therefore be coupled with site visits and the presentation of case studies." |
