TEN Center is glad to welcome the first advanced training course organised in cooperation with its new Chinese partner, the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China. The delegation, composed of 20 officers and deputy directors from the different local DRCs, will arrive in Rome on Saturday March 7, and then proceed with the lecturing sessions in Siena, Venice and Turin. They will be at VIU, on San Servolo Island, from March 12 to 17. This will be the first of two courses addressed to NDRC focusing on "Capacity Building on Climate Change". NDRC is in charge of the Chinese economic development, and the issue of Climate Change has become very important in the national development programmes, as its effects can be considered a serious threaten in this perspective." |
