The International Center for Climate Governance, in cooperation with the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change, organises the 2009 Meeting of the International Energy Workshop (IEW), which will take place at the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore, in Venice, on June 17th-19th. The Meeting will be structured with one plenary session per day, each hosting key-note speeches delivered by international experts. Then, three blocks of five parallel sessions will be held successively, featuring 3 or 4 presentations each. The 3 days Meeting will focused on a wide array of topics, including energy supply and price forecasts, energy efficiency, climate change, renewable energy, and the interface of energy, environmental, and economic issues." |
