From June 4 to 13 the delegation of the first E-learning Study Tour on ''Eco-Management: Strategies and Policies'' of year 2009 will be hosted in Italy. Held in cooperation with CASS, the e-learning project is developed to allow a larger number of participants even from remote areas of China to benefit from the VIU advanced training courses on Sustainable Development. After attending a plenary session held for 377 participants in China, with live lectures broadcasted from Milan and Beijing to other seven peripheral classrooms, two groups of 15 people come to Italy to follow an intensive course mainly focused on the practical application of SD issues. An intense schedule of visits to institutions and firms in Rome, Venice and Turin was designed for this first delegation, in order to let them meet concrete applications in the fields of sustainable mobility, urban planning, industrial and technological developments, waste and wastewater management, and sustainable agriculture." |
