| C21: a European Platform on Sustainable Construction |

 Construction 21 is one of the winning projects of Intelligent Energy Europe, an EU programme aiming at promoting clean and sustainable use of energy.Planned as a community for the exchange of information and best practices among stakeholders working in the field of sustainable buildings, the project deploys a web platform available in seven European languages. Led by the French Institute for Energy Performance in Building (IFPEB), the group of funding partners counts other 7 institutions, from Italy, Spain, Germany, Romania, Lithuania and France, including the Veneto Region Union of chamber of commerce (UCV) and the Italian National Builders Association (ANCE). Professionals can access the platform for free and they are invited to actively participate in the community by contributing to the contents, which can include both technical and managerial aspects of energy efficiency and eco-building. Construction 21 is expected to involve 200 thousands professionals and 25 thousands companies, and to open the platform to include all the 27 members States by 2015.
