| Italy guest of honour at the Congress on Energy Savings, Mexico |

 From August 29 to 31st the city of Guadalajara, Mexico, hosted the XXIII International Congress on Energy Savings, addressed to professional engineers and officials working in the field of environmental planning, electric systems, industrial development.During the Congress, the improvements obtained by the Federal Government in relation to production and consumption of energy were presented. These include a higher efficiency and better use of natural resources and, therefore, the reduction of the environmental footprint. Italy has been chosen as guest of honour of the Congress and the Italian Ambassador in Mexico City, Mr Roberto Spinelli, was invited to highlight the excellence of Italian technology in the field of energy efficiency, especially in the building sector, for which Mexico is showing an increasing interest.
