SITE VISIT OBJECTIVES
Present an effective example of waste management, that integrate different systems: a thermodestruction plant, a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) production plant, a composting facility for wet fraction from differentiated waste collection, sludge treatment and sewage depuration.

INSTITUTION/COMPANY PROFILE
VESTA is the limited company of Venice Municipality that manages environmental services in Venice and in some other municipalities of the mainland, with a population served of 610.000 people.
The activities carried out by VESTA are in the field of water supply and of urban services: drinkable water supply, urban and industrial wastewater treatment, waste collection and treatment, public and private cleaning, management of green areas and cemeteries, environmental reclamation work.
