2011 Course for Sustainability – SEE and Visegrad Countries
28 October 2011
Sust_AcademyThe Venice International University is proud to announce the fourth edition of the Course for Sustainability for South Eastern Europe and Visegrad Countries. The course is jointly organised by the VIU, the Regional Environmental Center (REC) and Agroinnova, and will take place from October 31 to November 10.
The first week will be held at the VIU, while the remaining 4 days will be at the REC Zero Emission Building in Szentendre (Budapest, Hungary).

Although on its 4th edition, the course objectives are still valid and current: 'think globally and act locally'.

The 35 participants are from municipalities, local agencies and NGOs of the SEE and Central and Eastern Europe countries. They will be actively involved through many workshops, role plays and site visits that are scheduled to promote active networking among participants and experts and to foster knowledge exchange. The three pillars of sustainable development will be discussed with major attention on the local prospective.
