The Advanced Training Program's May 2011 schedule is full of events.

The delegation of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China (MEP) will continue the Advanced Training program, which started on April 30, regarding Environmental Protection Supervision and Inspection, until May 14.

The National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC) in collaboration with Venice International University has organized an Advanced Course on Climate Change that will be held in Italy from May 14 to 28. The main topics of the courses are: capacity building on climate change, emission trading and the carbon market, adaptation to climate change, low carbon industry, climate change mitigation, climate change and agriculture, climate change and alpine glaciers.

At the end of May 2011, the second delegation selected by the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau (BMEPB) for the current year will be in Italy. This course with BMEPB scheduled for 2011 will be held from May 21 to June 3 and will focus on Environmental Regulation and Economic Policies. 15 participants have been selected to attend the training course.

In addition, from May 19 to 20 the workshop of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP-UNOV) "Adaptation to the Impacts of Climate Change for Reducing Security Risks in South-East Europe (SEE)" will take place.
