Three Courses of the Advanced Training Program are taking place in Italy in June 2011.

As the delegation from the Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau flies back to Beijing, a group of 28 selected by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology will arrive on June 4 for a training dedicated to Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation. The first part of the course will be addressing climate change policies in the EU, Italy and Venice, while in the second part the focus will be on policies implementation and case studies of climate change adaptation.

The Advanced Course on Low Carbon Economy addressed to the 21 delegates of the Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau will be held in Italy from June 11 to 25. Besides Low Carbon Policies and their economic and legal aspects, the training will offer insight on low carbon communities and energy efficiency and renewables.

The third delegation scheduled in June (June 18 – July 2) will count 25 participants selected by the Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection. Their training is dedicated to Environmental Protection Supervision and Inspection, focusing on Italian and European policies and regulations, Environmental Laws, Controls and Penalties, and Environmental Protection Supervision and Control at Local Level.
