Get New Knowledge About Plastic Recycling
02 August 2012
carpiblogHow can we improve separate waste collection? Which are the rules for correctly disposing of plastic waste? How much energy can be saved thanks to the recycling process? What are the new products made with secondary raw materials, and therefore coming from waste?
These and many other questions are discussed in the new blog "L'imballaggio di plastica secondo CARPI" (Plastic packaging according to CARPI) edited by CARPI, the Italian voluntary consortium for plastic recycling.

Very often the citizens do not know the recycling system in detail nor the amount of energy and raw materials saved through the process. Thanks to its broad experience in the field, Consorzio Carpi can give detailed information and prompt answers to the citizens' questions, thus playing a relevant role as information and education tool for the public. In this way the citizens can realize that they are active players in the recycling process and that the good performance of plastic recycling is in their own interest.

In time this website will collect a wealth of information about statistics, economics, social aspects, and research advancements on waste and plastic recycling. Moreover the blog will promote the discussion on key topics about waste management and underline the importance of the actions that the single citizen can take in order to improve plastic recycling.
