While the European mobility week is in full swing, there comes a good news in the field of innovation: the Sanya Skypump. This new system links vertical wind turbine and electric power storage. The stored energy is used as car fuel. The first station has been built near Barcelona and two new points are now under construction in Australia and in the US.This is a very interesting innovation in terms of sustainable mobility, since it is a concrete solution to the problem of electric power generation for electric cars and it is a step forward to sustainability since wind energy is a renewable source.

Actually "electric" mobility is not a novelty anymore and many concrete initiatives are supporting it. In Milan, for example, from September 13 to 17 the Elettrocity (websito only in Italian) took place. In this trade fair many new electric vehicles were presented and experts had the chance to discuss the theme of sustainable mobility through debate and meetings. The same happens in the 3th edition of the event named "Una scossa alla città" (a shock to the city) that also took place in Milan on September 12.
