VIU_REC Sustainable Development for Ukraine and Belarus

Belarus_UkraineFor the Course for Sustainability for Ukraine and Belarus, developed and organized by VIU in collaboration with the Regional Environmental Center and Agroinnova - University of Turin, 28 participants have been selected among high representatives of Ukrainian and Belarusian governments as well as from the business and academic sector of the targeted regions.

Two modules will form the Course, respectively at the VIU in San Servolo, Venice, Italy, from July 4 to July 8 and at the REC in Szentendre, Hungary, from July 11 to July 14.

The agenda will face crucial environmental issues for the region such as: policy and tools to promote sustainability, environmental economics and green economy, urban development, agriculture, waste management, water pollution and radioactivity environmental concerns.
Moreover, participants will be given the chance to deliver a brief speech on their feedback together with their past and current experiences in order to promote the networking activity among participants and experts. All participants will be strongly involved in all parts of the training as many workshops, role plays and site visits are scheduled to promote the active exchange of knowledge and information.
