The TEN Center of VIU is glad to congratulate prof. Chen Jining on his recent appointment as President of Tsinghua University, Beijing, China.

Prof. Chen has collaborated with VIU since 2005 and has actively promoted the VIU_Tsinghua visiting students' program, which has brought to Venice more than 50 Chinese students and has allowed to develop different research activities, among the others in the fields of waste and water management, climate change and Industrial Ecology.
