The first 2012 delegation selected by the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) will arrive in Italy on June 30^th.

The focus of the courses organized in cooperation with MOST addresses technical aspects linked to clean production. In particular, the aim is to involve companies trying to reduce their impact on the environment, linked to both their production process and the final product use. The achievements in this field can be proved by obtaining a process or product certification, especially on a voluntary basis, as it is the case of EMAS and Ecolabel in Europe.

Many site visits and meetings with firms have been organized in order to make the delegates directly experience what has been done by Italian companies to reduce their environmental impact. At the same time lectures will focus on the main policies, drivers and tools meant to help companies to achieve this goal, which could benefit not only them but the entire society.
