Coming Up Next at VIU

One course of the Advanced Training Program is organized in July before the summer break. The second delegation from the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China (MEP) in 2014 is coming to Italy on June 29-July 7 to learn from the European experience how to manage air quality problems. Nineteen high officials will address the theme of air pollution from several points of view through lectures and site visits.

Another key event is the first edition of the Sustainable Waste Management Summer School organized by VIU in collaboration with the International Waste Working Group, the University of Padua and Tsinghua University. The school, focused on "Sustainable Landfilling and Final Sink", aims to give an overview of the most recent and advanced technologies developed for the management of sustainable landfills. The Summer School takes place at VIU on July 11-20.

The activities of the TEN Center will start again in September with the course on "Innovation of Enterprises and Green Technologies" addressed to participants selected by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST).
