INSTITUTION/COMPANY PROFILE
The Consorzio Venezia Nuova is the concessionary of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport - Venice Water Authority responsible for measures delegated to the State to safeguard Venice and the lagoon. The Consorzio consists of a group of leading Italian and local construction companies. Defence from high waters, defence from sea storms, recovery and protection of the lagoon ecosystem: these are the objectives of the vast program of safeguarding measures which has been carried out in the lagoon and inhabited lagoon areas for many years now.
