OBJECTIVES
To present a practical example of eco-building for residential use.

COMPANY PROFILE
CEV S.p.A. was created in 1971 by Vendramin brothers, who carried on a project started in 1949 by their father. In more than thirty years of activity the enterprise has gained knowledge and experience in the field of residential, managerial, commercial or industrial buildings. In 2003 CEV obtained the ISO 9001-2000 certification of the quality of its production system and the SOA, a certificate needed to participate in public tenders. The Residence Acqua Azzurra is the first residential complex in the Province of Treviso combining eco-building principles with high energy savings standards.

The material used are:
• 5 layers wood panels for the bearing walls and layered wood beams for attics and coverings
• wood fiber and mineral wool for thermal insulation
• double slabs of “covered plaster” for acoustic insulation
• external fixtures with safety low-emission windows

The main mechanic plants equipments are:
• heating plant with a floor radiant system and a condensing low-emission boiler
• mechanical ventilation plants able to suck air in from “dirty” rooms (such as the kitchen and the bathroom) and blow fresh and filtrated air in “clean” rooms (such as bedrooms and the living room)
