Site Visit Objective:
To present the activities of the Metadistretto Veneto of Eco-building and an example of eco-building in Treviso Province.

Company Profile:
The Metadistretto Veneto of Eco-building is promoted by CNA, the National Confederation of Handicrafts and Small and Medium Enterprises. The Metadistretto Veneto is the first productive district involved in eco-building and sustainability in Italy. Nowadays, the Metadistretto is composed by 470 companies and 7,000 employees.
The Metadistretto aims at improving the eco-building value suggesting the “energy saving” as a new way of building.
Moreover, the Metadistretto aims at informing and spreading knowledge through citizens, enterprises and institutions.
Metadistretto wants also to promote research on the eco-building sector and in particular on building materials.
