SITE VISIT OBJECTIVES
To present the activities carried on by the Mobility Agency in the framework of public and private urban transport. The give an overview of the measures adopted for the reduction of traffic and traffic originated pollution and of the results obtained.

COMPANY PROFILE
ATAC, the Mobility Agency of the City of Rome, was born in 2005 by the merging between ATAC S.p.A., the Local Public Transport historic company, and STA S.p.A. The company operates since 1996 to develop activities and services connected to private mobility.
The Agency mission is control, monitoring and regulation of private mobility, parking design, planning and management, managing tickets, authorisations and permits, communication, sustainable mobility policies and environment, design and planning of private and public networks.
