Site Visit Objective:
Half dwelling and half show-room, Casa Gaia building gives the visitor the opportunity to see and literally touch eco-building technologies in operation.
Low trasmittance windows, low temperatures heating systems, renewable energy based systems are on display, so to allow a deeper insight into sustainable energy use and eco-building.

Casa Gaia is a Co-operative Society whose mission is to help the spreading of environmentally sustainable buildings and styles of life.
To do so, Casa Gaia helps local professionals and artisans to increase their knowledge in these fields, and carries on experimental buildings construction and buildings retrofit conceived as examples of good practises.
The philosophy of Casa Gaia is to minimize negative impacts on the environment; its final goal is to build an eco-village environmentally sustainable in all its aspects.
