To present an effective example of waste management that integrates different systems.
The Veritas Integrated treatment plant is located in Fusina, an industrial area near Venice, but far enough from residential areas. It is well connected with the main roads and provided with a pier to dock the barges coming from Venice. The integrated center includes a waste to energy plant, a Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) production plant for co-combustion with coal in electric energy power plant.
