Objectives
Lake Maggiore is the largest lake in Italy and it is affected by different kinds of pollutants, due to its exploitation as a tourism destination and to the intensive agriculture around it.
The ISE Centre manages the study of the lake ecosystem and its monitoring tools. The lectures focused on the ISE organization and on the activities carried out in order to monitor the water quality in the lake and the soil pollutants in the surrounding area.
